Amazing work Charlie!

The Ward has been reunited with the Squad at the LA County fire museum

Went on the website...the Ward is restored and, like cargostar(Dave) mentioned, reunited and on display with Squad 51 and the Crown fire truck(from seasons 1&2). It cost approximately $50,000 to restore the Ward to as seen in the series. Oh yeah...it served in Yosemite Park until it was donated back to the museum. Go to the website for all the details, stories, and pictures if interested.

Very nice, Charlie. Emergency! is now playing at 5:00 PM Mon-Sat. on MeTV, and unless I'm not home or have my hands full with something else, I'm watching it.

Perhaps you could rig a digital recorder hidden away at the shows with a "push me" button, just to add to the flavor a little..

I am admittedly not a real expert in American fire engines, but certainly I recognize the quality of a model. This is an outstanding job!.

Very nice build, love the little details that you have done on it. Did you scratch build the whole rig? What colour red did you use? Would love to build one of these myself to go with my Squad 51...............if I ever finish it

Most excellent, Charlie!

I aim to please...

I have that one as the call-tone for my parents when they call my mobile phone, usually because it's some over-dramatic false alarm.

This is for when the ex calls, because more often than not, it involves a bailout of some kind...

Very nice clean build. Like Bigbad I would love to see the engine as well. Are the hoses molded or did you scratch build, they look great

Couple of questions above.  The color is Rustoleum red and the hose is sewing elastic.  It comes on two sizes; 1/8" and 1/4" flat width.  I stain it will a wash of thinner and Floquil "earth".  The older cotton jacket hose even when new was this color.  Now most is white if it is not synthetic single jacket which you can get in just about any color of the rainbow.

Phil:  It is a combination of things.  I mentioned most of the details of the build above.  Cab is resin, body from an ALF kit and sheet plastic.
