Not sure if it is rare, but I have quite a few Lindberg 1966 Chevelle kits in the stash.
Is there a rare old kit that you can't resist buying multiples of?

Valiants... I have more than I'll ever use, and every cabinet I open I find more. Some of which I swear I never saw before. I have several to many of every year mint in box, loads of builders, tons of old built ups and of course a bunch of neat ole customs! I even once bought a full case of the '62 customizing kit. I still have the empty case,
I've tried to stop buying them, but at every show people come up to me to tell me about a Valiant for sale in the next aisle. So I have many enablers!

Yep ! Jo-Han Caddy Hearse and Monogram Uncertain T , but only when I can get them for "pocket-money". I'd never spend big bucks on a kit as I want to BUILD them, not collect them....

MPC Pinto Pro Stocks either Dyno Don or Gapp & Roush. I have four and I think the parts to build another. Also have several stock Pinto kits for parts use.

Where to start? For a while, I was on a quest to buy original AMT Ala-Kart kits, and I did. Lots! I also have a soft spot for AMT's original issues of their '36, '49 and '57 Ford kits, so I tend to watch for them on the 'Bay. My stash has no rhyme or reason, and I just buy what strikes my fancy.

The AMT 53 Ford pickup. I love this kit.
For awhile I was buying that kit as well as the Revell 1950 Ford pickup and the AMT 55-57 Chevy pickups. I just love 50s pickups. Every time I'd see one cheap at a show, I'd grab it. Then I did inventory and realized that I had a case or so of each of these. So I stopped buying.
I was at a show yesterday and found myself reaching for my wallet when I saw a 41 Plymouth kit for $15... then I remembered the 6 of them I already had. I'm getting better.
