I'm building a replica of my '78 W150 I used to have. I started out with an MPC Lil Red Express kit and parts from BNL Resins. I want the express my gratitude to Ben of BNL for all the help he has given me. One of the major mistakes of the kit was the placement of the transfer case and crossmember. After looking at a prototype photo, I moved things around. Also, the kit has a big block mishmosh instead of the Mopar LA smallblock it should have. I used the motor from the AMT '71 Duster. I have everything in mockup right now, and I'm waiting for more detail parts. I just purchased a distributor from MAD. I'd also like to thank Marty & Al from the Mopars In Scale Forum for the parts they have helped me with.

It's great not to see that transfer case hanging down like a bull from the PBR.  :D

The one thing that's bothered me about the MPC Dodge Pickups -and the Little Red Express in particular- is the engine ! It's MPC's generic Chrysler B / RB engine , couplled by the 833 New Process 4-speed . The Li' Red was only available with the E58 360 / A-727-A LoadFlite / 9.25" rear .

Good to hear that BNL Resins offers nice parts and good service . I just bought one of BNL's Torqueflites (A-727) and their TH 400 (for a conversion for Revell's 1969 Nova 'COPO') .

BNL Resins also has the correct W150 POWERWAGON decals for the front fenders. Ben has been a real help, and is willing to make things for us Dodge Folk. :)
