Thanks,dziękuję.

Phil, it's just a piece of black acrylic and black cardstock. And two lamps. That's all.

I wanted to build Ford Mustang really, but that’s what I saw on the auction website:

x0_zpsbcea1973.jpg

It was a typical, old AMT model:

01_zps7b06bbcc.jpg

I cut out the door handles:

02_zps812bf931.jpg

I got rid of the sidelights and emblems:

03_zps2e734fd1.jpg

And the wipers:

04_zps8b30ac23.jpg

I cut out the air inlet and pasted the stripes of polystyrene on:

Thereafter out of the stripes:

I made an imitation of the garnish mouldings:

08_zpsd38d9cda.jpg

09_zpsaedac6cc.jpg

10_zpsdddc5b61.jpg

I got along with the vinyl roof:

11_zps26faef26.jpg

12_zps47469915.jpg

I used alternately black matt paint and gloss one. Low pressure  and from the long range:

14_zps839568ce.jpg

15_zps83fafc21.jpg

All of the body was painted with silver Motip spray

Thereafter I masked the roof:

16_zpsbccc120b.jpg

And sprayed the model with a few thin layers of clear blue – Gunze C50:

17_zps4acaba97.jpg

18_zpsdb28d8a2.jpg

19_zps3817c202.jpg

Then with a few clear Gunze GX100 layers

After a few days I used a polishing paste.

21_zpsb571fec1.jpg

22_zps7904e766.jpg

And got along with the originally stark interior:

I made some new details:

I removed the original chromium finish with sodium hydroxide (like Drano):

Tail light panel  with bumper – first I cut out the corner back-up lights and replaced them with new ones, made from clear polystyrene rod.

Tailights:

I'm not sure where to start with the compliments.  Several aspects of this build got my attention right away, like the paint, the tight grain on the vinyl roof, the scratchbuilding (especially the grille) & the interior detailing, but the clarity & staging of the photography really helped make this a great post.

May I ask what paints/techniques you used on the exhaust manifolds?

PS - welcome to our board!

Thank you.

The exhaust manifolds were painted with ModelMaster 1402 (steel).

Next I used light & dark brown pigments with fixer like this:
