Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your feedback. The side pipes will be staying but I have an idea that will make them look a lot better.

Johann, the engine I'm using is from the Revell 2010 Camaro kit (which is actually an L99) but all the LS engines are pretty much iidentical on the outside so I'm calling it an LS7. This engine can also be found in the 2002 Camaro kit with a manual transmission and in the C6 and Z06 kits with a rear mounted transaxle.

Beautiful work and very nice stance. I'd love to know more about the detail and bracketry for the rear suspension and the the front suspension mountings work. Very nice fabrication! Do you have any more pictures, especially of the rear area. I'm unfamiliar with "dirtmodeler" parts(?).

I've always intended to actually build one of the half dozen or so that I robbed the tires & wheels out of, but I was gong to separate the front fenders & hood assembly at the line just above the side scoops to make it more like the C-3 'Vettes.

Thank you for the great comments guys!

Bernard, Here's a link to the dirtmodeler store. http://www.dirtmodeler.com/store/ Most of the parts are for dirt track race cars but I've found that many of them work on pro touring style cars too. I'll post some more pics of the rear suspension with my next update.

Smokin' hot, much better than the as-kitted stance. Very nice work on everything.

Thanks Bill!

I made some more progress. Airbags are made out of neoprene washers that I rounded the edges on and I added a crossmember to mount them to the frame.

I also painted the body. The color is HOK Sunrise Pearl with Nason urethane clear.

The color is a little darker in person than in the pics.

Thanks for looking! All feedback is appreciated. Billy

Somehow missed this one. Great work so far! Really nice work on the suspension so far! Love the color too. Where did the wheels and tires come from? Can't say I've seen them before.

Thank you for the encouragement! I think the wheels are from a company calked JPSpro but I'm not really sure. Has anyone else who built this kit had an issue with the windshield not fitting? Mine is too flat and it won't line up with the cowl at all.

Yes, I do remember that. I think I just let it go... If I build another, that is the first thing I'd try and fix .Maybe gouge a trough or something.
