How long is the trailer? Did you drill all the holes by hand? Excellent work on this model. Really impressive.

The trailer is 48' in scale, and yes i drilled all the round holes with a drill press and the oval ones I did by hand with my dremel tool.

Wow. Thats a lot of drilling!! Great work.

Did you use some kind of jig to get the holes lined up? What did you use for reference?

A I just printed a picture off the net. I just set up one row at a time, drilled all of them. Then just keep repeating.

Where can I get the 386 conversion kit from and dose it come with the head lamps like urs dose cause all the ones I see u have to paint them on or decal them on and I'd prefer the clear lenses instead

I got the kit from here http://www.aitruckmodels.com/. I did the head lights myself because I didn't like the decal look either.

When you get the hood he has the lights out lined, so all I did was cut out on that line, then just put a back piece in and made the lens out of clear plastic.

Thats awesome, after im done with projects i got goin im gonna do the 386 conversion, im a truck driver and drive a 386 that has won trophies, its awesome to see someone do the conversion and do custom take on it, beautiful work!!!
