Looks like a Nash and an Oldsmobile had a kid. It looks nice, to those that know was there ever a two door version?

After hours of searching I have a pretty good idea of what it isn't.

Good one Harry, I just couldn't quite place it! Pretty car, especially for Renault.

It is a neat car - and I like the photo, too - gray backdrop, subdued colors on the car, and a lady in red (with black gloves to coordinate with the black lower of the car).  Hey, maybe Heller can make one now that they're making some new tools!

The first time I saw one, I realized something interesting:

The roof and doors are virtually the same as the ones on the Renault Dauphine (basic parts are the same, but trim and some stamped details change)

The car is A LOT smaller than it looks by the picture.

They did make a similar car called the  Fregate  Chapron  in a two door and a convertible. Here is a picture of them.

What threw me was it was about 8 years behind the times for styling. I came across Renaults but my specified date was too early. Those rear fenders had long since gone out of style over in USA.
