I just opened a box with a Carrera 66 GTO and the roof is melted down to the body. I have never seen such a thing. I never opened this up when I first bought it so I can't return it as it was a long time ago.
I have heard that there are resin bodies that you can get for 1/32.
Any help would be appreciated.

There's a thread just down the page from here about a company called Resilient Resins. They have 1/32 and 1/24 bodies that look really good. They don't have a '66 GTO but you might like some of their offerings.

you may want to try RMSRESINS.COM his cars are awesome and are cast for scaley and carrera chassis
