Looks like there are pics of the S&M '70 w/ chrome bumpers and with a body color bumper...multiple cars, I presume or differences through the season.

Sox%26MartinCudaPS.jpg

Probably more a case of when in the season....Plus I would be surprised if there was only the one car for the 1970 season

every pic I've seen of the restored car it has a ft rubber bumper.

I'll have to look thru my files and see if I can find one of  back in the day where it shows it with a rubber bumper

Judging by a post on FaceBook from guy that might of let the cat out of the bag, even know we know its coming, I suspect that Revell is going to announce something from the 80's and something that a lot people have been waiting for

I could be 100% wrong as well

Maybe something that rhymes with "utlass" and the body style is the sixth letter in the alphabet? Where on Face book did this go down, I haven't seen anything.

Love the Sox & Martin kit.

I wonder how the intake and carbs and the wheel and tire combo will look.

Just found out that the '58 Corvette will be similar in content to the original Pro-Modeler version, not the later and more modern-optioned '59 like I speculated earlier.

Revell posted on FB that they're announcing tomorrow. Hope there's something like the NEW stuff for the 4Q or this is a leadup to nowhere.

I am looking forward to the Sox and Martin Cuda.  I built the Johan version a couple decades ago.  If they fix the fender flares, this will be a "must have" kit for another Sox and Martin car, and a couple more for other race and street/strip projects.  (440 powered bracket car?)

I am waiting to see if Revell fixes their Mustang body.   If they fix it, I am in for at least three or four of the drag version.  These can be backdated to street machines too.

I will be grabbing a couple of the 510s.  I hope they reissue the 240z someday too, as they would make a neat pair.  I also might grab a 58 'vette just to keep my 62 company.  I have enough of the 59 Impalas in my stash to last a lifetime, so I won't be buying any more, but It is a cool kit.  In the end, Revell always seems to end up with some of my money!

Seriously? Has anyone seen the BIG reveal this morning? They are at Detroit giving away free snap kits of a 2015 Mustang, and they have a video of "Dummy McGoofball" building one.....WOW......NOT.

Nobody said the news was aimed at us.

As a marketing stunt this has potential, tooling paid by Ford?

I'm sure a full detail kit will follow...

Like I said in the other thread I'm just happy to see that a car manufacturer is willing to work with a model company while the car is still top secret.  I don't think promo models were high on the priority list during the recession of the past few years.

I wonder if the drag versions of the Mustang and Cuda will be single version only or 2n1 kits.   IIRC, the '58 Corvette was available originally as a 'Pro Modeler' kit, then they did the 2n1 '59 variation of it (black on the box w/ flames).   IIRC, the '58 PM version had optional parts, but different ones than the '59.

I don't remember the '59 Corvette. Does anyone have a link to the box art or something?
