The Emhar Bedfords are (forgive me if this sounds  bit cheesy, but I've got to say it) exquisite kits. I'm hoping they'll do more 1:24 truck kits in addition to variations on the Bedfords.

These are beautiful kits, I had the SWB tipper version, and Ive seen this tanker and the new wrecker up close, very nice

Yes they were from the late 40s early 50s.  Bedford was created as a stand alone company in Britain by GMC.  You can see the GM influence in the designs.  Bedford's were one of the most popular lorries (trucks) on the road at one time.
