Danno
This was a hare-brained concept that just kind of presented itself . . . there may have been strong margaritas and loud Jimmy Buffett music involved. This was the second in a series of whimsical models based on the Aluma-Coupe kit. What if the Town of Boydville used an Aluma-Coupe for its police force? It took longer to mask than it did to assemble, but it was fun little slump-buster at the time. (Forgive the photos, they're old and it was an air-pollution-alert day.) Aaronw
Does it have a rumble seat for the perps? That is really... different. I have this image of Mad Max if it was done in the 1950s.
Danno
Terrific idea, Mike! Maybe I can catch Brad's trailer over-parked, so I can impound & confiscate it for public service! Thanks, man.
Danno
Aaron, it is different, isn't it? Sometimes we just gotta have some fun! Thanks for checking in, my friend.
Skydime
That's sure a unique way of building this kit. It took quite an imagination to come up with that out of an Aluma-Coupe. I would have never imagined I'd have ever seen this. Now it makes me wander about other Boyd's kits as public service vehicles. Chezoom would sure make a quick taxi! Ace-Garageguy
Great concept. If I lived in that particular alternate reality, I'd really have to get busted for speeding more often, just to get pulled over by something cool.
