I have not  been  home in a  long time  sir,  but last time i was  home  there  was a   store in the  burnsville  center  mall that  did  slot cars and  had a  neat  raceway setup in the  store  and  i want  to  say  they let   folks  brink their  own  slotcars and  run em  on the   track  layout,   worth   chicking  into  or  asking  around if its  still there   or  not

i find  most  places  in malls now days  don't seem to  stick around  much nowadays

Scale Model Supplies in St. Paul has several tracks set up. They are original 60s commercial tracks and they run them on certain nights. I think they are 1/32 and 1/24. They also have a dragstrip.

I have been in scale model supply several times and I have never seen a slot car track where is it? Is it in that back room that is straight behind all the paints, magazine, and evergreen/plastistrut aisle? Oh is there a secret room where I need to know special handshake and a code word lol.

Yes, there's a walk through door at the end of the paint/styrene/reference isle that goes to their "as is" area. If you take an immediate right after walking through that doorway you'll see a dutch door. If the track is open walk right in I imagine, if not there is a sign with track hours. I've never been there while it's open and I forget the hours but I always peek in, it looks fun!

I was in there today (04/05) and it was open so it looks like Saturdays are good.
