My 11yr old nephew wanted to build a model like his uncle. So like every good uncle should do I let him pick out a model out of my less desirable kits I own and sat down and buit it With him. All painting was done by him but the body.i told him I would post it on our forum to show it off for him. Hopefully we have another happy modeler in the family.IMG_20140320_140719_zps1ue5c6tb.jpgIMG_20140320_140844_zpsvllslonn.jpgIMG_20140320_140917_zpsqugcblw3.jpgIMG_20140320_140958_zpsehfcuyql.jpg

good for him!! tough to get them into with vididoit games & whatnot now a days.

my 9 yr old is on his 3rd glue together, each one a big improvement over the last, it's cool seeing that pride in their eyes when they succeed in getting them tough parts together!

buy him more while he's interested, my boy used up my maybe build someday kits already :D

thats funny, must be something about kids & apaches! i have an Academy long bow apache my son wants to build-same thing, i think it's a little too advanced.

he's right into military so i got him a Italeri LVT-4 buffalo, detailed but easy enough for his fingers

told him if he does a good job on the buffalo, he can try the apache next
