HOK candy teal over a mix of orion silver and galaxy grey,,,not done yet as I want to put on another couple coats of the candy teal to make it a bit darker and richer looking. Interiour will be a couple similar shades.

Sorry Grey, I forgot to get a shot with just the grey base for you,,,it really didn't look all that great in it anyway.

Very nice color. What kit is that? I bought an old build up on E-Bay a couple months back.

Thanks Bobby, It's a '66 Toronado,,,not shure if it was a Jo-Han or AMT as they sold the same kit from both companys.

Not shure yet but I might just use my 19" cragar style wheels I cast. ,,,or maybe these Aoshima wheels but I'd have to order a set.

Most likely I'll just go with my own. Here's what they look like.

Steve,

I'm catching up on the postings after almost 2 weeks out. That color is very nice for that car. It looks gorgeous.
Question on the foiling of emblems: I've never tried this before but a current project will require that because there are no photoetch sets for it and decals will just not cut it. Do you trim as close as possible to the letters or do you leave it wide and buildup with primer to hide the edge? Do you lightly sand it between coats to avoid buildup or only at the end? Does BMF resists hot lacquer paints and clears? Any additional hints or tips?

Thanks,
