Gorgeous truck man I really like it. How did you connect those bigger pipes to the old exhaust? Could you show a couple pics?

I cut the elbow that comes out from the turbo, where its at 90 degrees, extended it a bit. I found that a piece of chrome tree fit perfect inside the aluminum tubing.

Very Nice color combination.  I also like the single axle.  Nice job and congratulations for a finished model after all those years.  :)

I'm sorry Clayton but I have to do it!! What is a Lay Hauler?

I used to live in California, but I never payed attention.

Well at least not to the trucks!!

But I can say it looks awesome for sure.

Out here, most of the trucks that haul from the alfalfa fields are 2 axles. The cut alfalfa is called hay, that goes to the dairies mainly, as feed. Over the years people started fixin the trucks up, if you look on the 1:1 reference page at my peterbilt inspirations, there are a few 2 axles that are ordered from a dealer to haul hay out here. Over time on the truck show circuit they became known as hay haulers. These trucks tend to be in the dirtiest places, haul roads that parallel the fields, which turn into mud roads in the rain. You take in account the rough roads, dirt, and overall adverse conditions, and these trucks still are some of the cleanest on the highway. Ill post some post a few pics on the 1:1 page so you and others that may not know, can see what they look like, loaded and empty

I really like this truck, I cut up almost all of my trucks and make dragsters out of them but they don't look anything close to yours. I am familiar with hay trucks living in chino 46 yrs then moving up here. Guess Im your new neighbor

Ive lived up here a long time. Cant see livin anywhere else.
Im ordering low pro rubber and a new visor. Guess projects really are "never" finished

Thanks for all the kind comments. Sorry if that explanation of what a hay hauler is, was taken in any negative way. Tried to explain with what i know and give a little background incase some people didnt know what hay even was.

That is one cool little Pete! I like your color choice and how you did your two-tone, it just fits right!
