That looks like a Japanese sports car designed for the guy that has only a parking space for a Daihatsu Cuore

I know what it looks like it wants to be (well, the front; the back looks like it wants to be something else).  It does look kinda cute, in an ugly sorta way.

This week's car is a 1992-94 Autozam AZ-1, built by Suzuki and sold my Mazda (but not sold as a Mazda!)

wow.... the audacity of the Suzuki designers AND the Mazda retailers! blatantly copy Ferrari styling points and cover a Kei car with them! honestly, though; it looks pretty imaginative for the time period and manufacturer. does Jay Leno have one?

I was thinking more the dwarf love-child of a Ford RS200 and a Fiat X1/9...

This is the really sporty, optioned out version. It has a wider intake on the hood, bugeye headlights and a rear spoiler. The vanilla version was... well... plain.

It'd probably be a fun little car to have on the real world. I have one on Gran Turismo 5 & 6 (reason I knew the car) and with the G-25 racing wheel it was fun to race with.
