I was really impressed that MPC could make a tool that produced the frame in one piece.I expected to have to the make it  from 4 pieces which could have caused alignment issues.  001_zps0e802676.jpg

The chrome front axle, tie rod and radius rods are structural components so I used 2 part epoxy to ensure strength.      001_zps85ac01f5.jpg

These MPC kits build up nicely and have a great stance. You've got a killer build going Phillip!

Heads up modelers! The instructions have you install the interior tub prior to installing the engine(I foolishly believed them!)I had to grind down the tranny and portions of the rear engine block to allow the engine to be installed in the proper position.Bummer!(I had to repaint the damaged portions of the engine block and tranny. To make myself feel better,I mocked up the body to the chassis.Looks pretty sweet!    002_zps8aba0f35.jpg

Looks great! I have this body and I think I have that frame. Unfortunately I think that's all I have. I'd like to find some parts to build a fictional one myself. Thanks for the tip on the body and engine sequence. I will be watching this one.

Update guys! I had to move the engine forward so that the body would fit properly.I also had to put on a driveshaft extension. Builders of this kit should verify the correct engine position before cementing it in place!
