Can I or can I not put a coat of clear over Alcad?

I've heard some so NO period and others yes but only an acyrlic clear (like Future).

What is the word?

Future seems to be the only way to go. Other clears have a tendency for the chrome to lose its "brightness".

You also may want to test try Tamiya Clear X-22----- although it's a water base..........it may not have the same dulling effect as the others
