Should there be vinyl pinstriping (not the right term but it's all that's coming to mind right now) on either side of the split?

Yes, I've seen most cars have piping that goes around the individual seat backs........on the cushion part (where your rump sits
Which direction it goes will depend on the model/year/ pattern you're doing.

As some of you may know, I'm building a front bench seat for a '67 Impala. It's been absolute ages since I was in a car with a front bench and I'm wondering about some of the details. One mainly.
Should there be vinyl pinstriping (not the right term but it's all that's coming to mind right now) on either side of the split?
Did you know that Modelhaus sells a resin front bench for the '67 Impala?

No. Wish I had especially it it's made to fit the current AMT/ERTL '67 Impala kit.

Yes it fits the AMT/ERTL kit perfectly. I also got their std hood and non-SS427 grill.

I've got the hood, grille and the wheels. Might have to order the seat from them.

The seat is part of the '67 Chev station wagon resin kit. I am not sure if it is listed seperately but it can be purchased seperately.
