George, what car are you wanting to do? There are plenty of resin bodies out there. You should check out Compresins.com to see the bodies they have on offer. Also, check with Slixx for the decals that match the funny car bodies. Hope this helps.
As I've given up on Revell and it's love affair with "vintage iron" these days, I'm hoping that Tamiya would take a serious look at the Aussie Super V8 series. There are only a few brands on the track but a company like Studio 27 (a Japanese Slixx, if you will) could fill in the gaps with all the available teams that are currently competing these days. I'd buy more than my share from both Tamiya and Studio 27 if they would get around to kitting these cars.
