In Topic: Revell 68' Charger kit****1/24

09 September 2014 - 04:31 AM

I'd like to see the pics

This is full revell 68' charger kit(2in1) along with left overs from a 69' charger.

So body in this kit was a replacement from revell due to me screwing up the original 68' body. And not having the box top, however I did for the 69' so it has the vinyl top from the revell 69' kit.

A few things are painted nothing is glued except for the 426 hemi engine (not finished) Which has small holes in the valve covers. I'm sure they could be filled.

69' charger decals are pictures I should still have the 68' decals. The engine magnum decal is with the 440 engine bag.

Body was painted but stripped due to bad paint as a result id like a different model to build instead. Still some paint on the body not much as you can see, it was stripped with purple power and wet sanded 1000 grit before painting, also it was polished with novus 2 before painting and strip.

Sorry for the wait.

These kits go hand and hand together so no issues. Blue paint is tamiya syntethic lacqer, black is tamiya acrylic. Also has two stock hoods along with the scoop hood.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Ps only thing that should be missing for sure is the roll bar. I used that for my general lee. Not really needed for a charger unless doing a drag style.

This looks pretty sick so far nice job doing the carbon fiber. Ive used scale motors carbon decal and its a pain to apply.  This is my favorite car so don't screw it up

Jk your doing an awesome job and the green looks sweet! (Also my favorite color) haha

Nicely done dio & tutorial Byron! Looks simple and fun to build. Love the result!

Thanks man, and like I said you can use this base with any size and any type of diorama you choose.
