Here is my version of a surf wagon painted with Tamiya acrylics. The kit is an AMT and went together without much fuss.

Good day fellow modelers,

 

I humbly submit my latest completion. Revell's 1950 Olds kit with Gofer Decals latest Curtis Turner 1950 Olds decal sheet.  This was a quick build and is only a representation of a 1950 era stock car. It is by no means meant to be an accurate representation of the prototype.

 

The paint is Tamiya acrylics and Model Master Metalizers. I wish I had dulled the chrome down a touch but I was happy with the results.

This is one of my favorite muscle cars and a kit I have built many times. A quick two week build as I tried to beat the Mayan end of world.  Since the world did not end, I gave it to a friend as a Christmas gift.

 

The paint is Tamiya Bright Green, while the chrome is a mixture of Alclad 2 and BMF.

Hello everyone,

Here is my first posting to this great forum. The kit is Revell's "Black Widow", finished with Tamiya clear orange (x-26) and clear red (x-27) over a base of Tamiya chrome silver (x-11).
