Nissan Silvia S13 track car

26 August 2013 - 08:56 PM

Hey guys, this is my sunday track car. Took about 3 weeks to build. I'm running out of materials and paints so this one has its rough spots...mainly in the paint but I'm out of clear and at only 17 I can't legally buy any... So I'll redo it in a month when I turn 18. But here's the finished car! Paint color inspired by my friend Tim's S13. Not stickering up yet due to the clear issue. Enjoy!!

Hey guys, finally bought my dream kit. I know it's a rather odd/simple kit to be a dream kit but its also my dream car. Any way, I wanted to keep this simple with decent detailing. I've chosen a forest green color for the car based off my friends S13. I couldn't wait to build the motor so that's where I started. I was going to attempt to detail the bay with some custom racing parts but looks like there isn't much room nce I test fit every thing.

Tell me what you think!

Hey guys, just a simple curbside build. My girlfriend loves jeeps and the color blue so I decided to surprise her with this before she goes away to college next week. I like the kit a lot but it seems under detailed to me so I want to find another and do a full build with a small block and other details.

I did have some small issues like the box being crushed so some parts were broken. And the body was pretty wacky. I had fun trying to straighten it.

Not much left to do. Mainly just detail painting and bumpers, rollbar, and somehow I have to work in a little camp for her.

Time for pics.

Started out as a simple sleeper that is becoming a monster...

This started with the basic curbside Tamiya drift kit but I wanna show off the motor so I opened up the engine bay and stuffed in the whole ZR1 drivetrain. I will be making the engine bay out of styrene sheet and lots of putty work. I'm also planning a full cage with a stripped interior

Hey guys, I am not sure where to post this so feel free to move it if needed.

This is my first completed model in like 5 months. I scored this trailer and the F250 truck for only 50 bucks with shipping!

Here's some pics.
