About Me
Born in 67. I have been around cars my whole life. My Pop was a hell of a mechanic. Worked on my first car (57 Chevy 150)when I was 5. (Mom still has the pic) Built my first model with my Pop. It was a Hubley Chevy roadster. My 1st car was a 68 Nova w/ a 327. (MAN I miss that car). I have been building models since I can remember. I used to cut my Grandmom's grass and then run to the hobby shop with the $$ she gave me to buy the next model. Even during my late teens and early 20's when I dicovered girls, real cars and started racing, I was still collecting models. I got seriously back into building after I got married. I joined DVSM (Del Vel Scale Modelers in Philadelphia)...oh I guess it's been about 10 years ago now. Since that time I have also joined...and still belong to 4 other models clubs. (PACM, MAMAs, JSMCC, and Silent Traffic) I build all sorts of models, but mainly cars. I think the best thing I have gotten out of this hobby has been the friends I have made and the experiences I have had.

Do you happen to know where the "spare" body was built? If it was in Atlanta I was involved with the project, which was secret-secret at the time.
Bill,
I'll see if I can find that information for you the next time I go down to the museum.

When I heard about this a few weeks ago, I was skeptical, but hopeful. I think it's FANTASTIC!!! I can't wait to: "A" See heat races, and "B" watch some of these asphalt cry babies learn what it's like to race on a real surface. There are definitly a few of these guys who will have an advantage. Glad to see they are heading to Canada too, and back on a road course again. I hope Fellows runs the Mosport race.

...oh, I also learned that I need to try polishing with a Dremel...but only after using Urethane as a clear. "Where did Dan say he got those "mops" again?"

I've learned that I need anew chair in the work shop. I am currently using a small stool and it is killing my back. As a result, I do not have the enthusiasm to get in there and work on anything.
