Just a little gripe. The past several issues that I've gotten have been coming apart at the " center-fold " It's happened on several throughout my subscriptions. It's like the staples are not holding anything. Just got the newest issue yesterday...same thing. Anybody else been having this problem??? ![]()

Another slot car...a 55 Chevy pro-mod
23 April 2013 - 05:03 AM
Just finished this one the other day...Revell's 55 Chevy, painted a dark red, added Slixx decals and a Competition Resins scoop. Got rid of the wing, cleaned that up, & tossed it on my faux chassis...for photos that I shot again. C'mon cobraman-Ray, honest opinion, how are they???? LOL!!

Willys gasser

Well, I actually got a full build done!!!! I switched wheels & tires to skinnier ones front and back, I thought they would look cooler. I also tossed the blower in favor for Hillborn injection. I added fuel lines, plug wires( magneto ) aluminum pullies-with a real rubber belt. I added throttle linkage too. One thing about these Willys that I never paid attention to, was the fact there is no steering linkage to the firewall...so I added that too. For my buddy Ray Kurns...can ya tell my wife did NOT take the pics?? LOL!! I gotta leave that up to her!! Comments welcomed...

Two more slot cars

First one is a 68 Firebird, painted Kryptonite Gold...flip - flop gold-green-red. Kinda trippy...

The next one is a 1985 Camaro, said it was 1/25th, looks a little big to me, I'm pretty sure it was a diecast that Revell did as a plastic kit. It has a resin scoop & wing, painted Hugger & Grabber oranges, different I guess...check next post...comments welcomed
