I stand corrected, I don't think I've done one from tamiya but if I get the chance I won't hold this experience against it. Thanks for settin me straight.Huge difference. Japanese kits practically fall together. Very well engineered. Think Tamiya. Chinese kits are for the most part junk.....they just turn out anything to make a buck.

i had the kit but couldnt bring myself to build it cause i thought the 63 nova was lame to begin with so i traded it off

I just read your signiture statement. That hits the nail on the head. I'm in Lincoln Park so I see all the junk on tv too.OOO,John, I'm not really sure you CAN unwarp the type of plastic those ORIGINAL promos were molded in. It's DEFENATELY NOT styrene. I tried to fix an old Hubbley 60 Ford station wagon once an no matter what I did, Hot water .heat, heat with pressure(rubber bands) nothin worked. Maybe one of the guys have been able to, but I sure as heck wasn't! Hopefully someone can help us BOTH out! Fella's?????

39 downloadsThanks guys, I got it all cleaned up and I tried the hot water deal, and you were right, it won't straghten out. It doesn't look bad the way it is, just looks different than the rest of what I have. I've posted a pic for your review, what do ya think?
