I'm building this alongside my 67 convertible Camaro and using up another Revell 69 Camaro kit in the process.This one has a Dana hood I got from Time Machine Resin 5 or 6 years ago, I figured it's about time I build a Dana/Nickey around it. It will get some speed parts and 70's custom paint along the way. Here goes

Got a good stance with the 69 Camaro chassis, Revell big n little Blue Streaks and some Modelhaus Daisy wheels.



Interior consist's of a 69 Z-28 tub and console, 69 pace car door panels and the AMT 68 seats and dash. It should make for a accurate 68 custom/deluxe interior with a few mods to make it come together. Ignore the primed rear seat it's for my 67 convt. and the 68 kit tub is in the background waiting to have it's rear seat cut loose.



The firewall is 69 kit unmodified, and the fenderwells/firewall were cut from the 68 body to make room for the 69 parts.



The fit of the 69 chassis still floors me. A little trim on the front corners to fit the splash pan, and even less work to get the rear valence panel to fit. Otherwise it locks into the body real nice.

My wife has been bugging me to build a 67/68 Convertible for a while now, since I have to make her happy from time to time....here goes . I have this started 69 build someone gave me , and a fresh 67 kit to work with so I have been trying to combine the two for a few weeks now, most of that time spent on the interior.

Here the 67 door panels and rear seat are free from the 67 tub



Now fit into the 69 tub. The rear seat was narrowed in the center. Once the glue cured the bottom cushion was cut into 3 pieces from side to side and shortened then I added the seat top to the modified seat.. The next step is to to re-contour the grossly misshapen front seatbacks to look like the real thing, the door panels are getting a major overhaul, and I started adding details to the dash last weekend.



Chassis was almost made for this body, just had to clip a little ahead of the front wheels to fit the splash pan, and the firewall fits with no mods .



67's had vent windows that are represented on the clear tree and not very detailed, so I had to add those as well.



Finished...I need to prime to check my progress and do some finessing but I'm pretty happy with the results



the 69 windshield fits like a glove too.

Help me Help me!!!!........I haven't been able to post from my Photobucket for several months now. Used to work fine, but not anymore. I hit the URL, it say's "copied", but when  I right click to paste it there is no paste option in the box...still works on spotlight, haven't been to SA forums in a few years and not going back to see if it works there.  Is there a new secret button I need to hit to allow this?  Please help as I am jonesin' to post some recent finished builds and my on the bench stuff. Thanks for any help you may provide.

Built as a "what if it were nice" replica of the rusty primered Monte I had in the early 90's. Revell snap kit. I made the landau top into a full vinyl top, added parts box wheels and tires and a few interior details...otherwise it's right out of box. In keeping with the original, paint is Plasticote black sandable primer, but with duplicolor clear lacquer. Thanks for lookin'

I haven't built a bigrig since I was a kid, so when I got a chance to grab the GMC kit from a friends stash in a club collection raid, I couldn't resist.........and with a December deadline I would be forced to finish it. It has to have a trailer so I added the Freuhauf dry van to the build shortly after it was re-released, I'll try to take some pics of that progress early this week. These will be built mostly box stock with some light weathering. I figure I am about halfway done with the whole thing but will be focusing in the tractor to meet the early Dec. deadline ,then I can finish the trailer as time allows.
