2013 Dodge Challenger R/T

08 May 2014 - 04:43 AM

Heres another car that im replicating for a friend this time its his current ride. I'd used a Revell 2009 Challenger kit. Since the 1:1 car has a 6 speed the kits automatic transmission had to go i found one that was close from a AMT 92 Dodge Viper in order for that to work i carefully separated the crossmember and moved it back. Theres a few more things that needs to be corrected to make it accurate for a 2013 model.

1972 Dodge Challenger

08 May 2014 - 04:30 AM

A good friend of mines wanted me to replicate his first car that he bought back in May of 1972. It was just a basic Dodge Challenger that was Bright Red with white interior & a white vinyl top and had a 318 under the hood. One day he gave me a box of his old models to restore and unknownly this old MPC 72 Challenger was in that box. The frame im using is from a AMT 70 Challenger R/T, engine is from a AMT 71 Duster i'd modified the optional six-pack intake to resemble the 2 barrel intake that the 1:1 car had.

Silver Bullet 67 Plymouth GTX

21 February 2014 - 02:00 PM

I been wanting to build this for some time. Im replicating Silver Bullet that Jimmy Addison street raced back in the late 60's early 70's. The kit im using is the Revell Sox & Martin 67 GTX reissue. Good thing is that it has the parts I need except for the cross-ram intake, exhaust and the deeper set of Cragars for the rear.

Dick Landys 68 Dodge Charger

05 November 2013 - 07:11 PM

Heres a project that i'd started on a couple of weeks ago. I'd painted the body, frame, hood scoop, front & rear facias with Model Master German Silver to replicate the hue that was on the Landy car.
