Budweiser King Top Fuel

This one is completed. Beside some wings that are not straight the rest is done. I used epoxy glue and because of that thoses wings moved before setting. So I'll have to repositioned them.
I does'nt look too much on the pics so there they are...

Tyrell Ford 019

I'm starting this one for a change. I've always been a fan of Formula One racing. It is the top of mechanical and driving class in the world... This period was one of great development and progress and was interesting to follow.

So here it is...

Stutz Blawk Hawk

I just completed thisn one. It is a resin and white metal kit in 1/24 scale, curbside no engine...It was enjoyable to built but experuend=ced some paint problem. Resin kit often have air bubble in the molding that need to bu filled. When you prime and paint these bubble came back to the surface, so I had to repaint 3 tiems to finally have a nice finish.
But I have to say it is rewarding just to look at the finished model.

Budweiser King Top Fuel

Here's an exciting project for me. For a long time I wanted to build another one, but I procrastinate on it knowing that detailing is a must for those models to look good. Well it's on the way now...

Rail frame is painted with a mix of Alclad Aluminium and Gunmetal to acheive the metal look. The body is painted Ferrari 90's F1 red and most lettering is done.

Stutz Black Hawk 1928 LSR

12 March 2015 - 06:18 AM

Started this fancy project this week. It is a resin and white metal 1/24 kit from Etzel Classic I bought at last year's NNL East.

Finally decided to attack it...

It is a curbside kit that is very well molded, as expected, some little pinholes have to be taken care of. The paint is not easy to apply since I experimented some static electricity. The paint have to be applied in very thin coats...

Anyway it's only minor...here's some photos
