So Frustrated!!

I am currently working on a 49 Mercury and it has been coming along excellent until know. I started putting the paint job on it and it immediately started looking like ######!!

I can't stand it when a project turns bad! Makes me want to quit all-together!

removing chrome plating

I need to remove chrome from some parts. I always use brake fluid but hate dealing with it. What other items are good for this?

Hello I am new to this forum and have been lurking here for a little while. I have been in the hobby on and off for almost 30 years.
