Well I finished my second kit for the year...Now I just of to finish a couple more!

 I just built it right out of the box...just to get one done.  I still need to add a few more decals to it but its pretty much done.

  The top of the body doesnt sit well...I could make it fit by gluing it in place but not sure if I will.  The upper body interferes with the front suspension a little bit.  And the half shafts between the spindle's and the drive axles didnt line up right. I tried to fix them but the would stay where they should have they kept shifting back to the same mis alined location. 

  But it was still fun to build besides I mostly bought the kit for the tractor anyway.

Well I finished one...first one for 2013!  Not a lot of details on this one but Just wanted to get on done That I started long ago.....I have a few of those I will be trying to finish this year and maybe a new build or 2 also. I added some plug wires, wood to the bed, swapped the generator for an alternator, drilled out the tailpipes.  I still need to add the license plate decals and Paint the blue oval on the grill and do a couple touch ups on some chassis paint. 

   I should have done a little more to it  but looks ok.  Flash kind of washed out the red a bit  I will have to try some out door pictures tomorrow after I finish the touch ups.

I picked up one this past weekend.  When I opened it last night I only found one set of tires...the drag slicks and 2 white wall tires....shouldn't there be 4 of the stock tires as well?  anyone know?

I started this a long time ago....and finally decided to try and finish it.  I just have to do the final assembly.  I only added some wood to the bed and wired the plugs and swapped the generator out for an alternator and added ad etched bracket for it as far as modifications go.  I just wanted to finish something to get the ball rolling for 2013.

I was wondering how many kits of the different years of the Impala's were made.
