  6. Dear GSL Enthusiast: We are pleased to announce that the Twenty-Second GSL International Scale Vehicle Championship and Convention, presented by the International Model Car Builders’ Museum, will be held at the Sheraton City Centre Hotel in Salt Lake City (the same location as in 2007). As you may know, the Championship no longer mails documents to everyone because of the high cost of printing and mailing. We’ve just published three web documents so you can learn more about GSL-XXII: the GSL Convention Manual, a picture-rich “GSL Highlights,†and the tentative GSL -XXII Schedule. These documents contain all the information on the twenty-second Championship, and can be found on the website: http:/www.GSLChamiponship.org and then click on “Late Breaking News†where you’ll find all three documents under the February 1, 2009 date. The PRE-REGISTRATION and PRE-ORDER forms are also there as links. We urge you to download and read these important documents about the upcoming GSL Championship. See you here in April! Cheers, Mark S. Gustavson

  10. I made a reservation at the Wayne Inn, which is right nearby. Has anyone else made a reservation? At the old Parsippany Holiday Inn, perhaps? ~~ Paul
  11. I'm looking at the Crazy Modeler decal sheet. I understand the four license plates, the CHMSL, and the two "722". What are the rest of those decals? I'm particularly fascinated by the eight clear dots. ~~ Paul
  12. Has anyone used the Crazy Modeler photoetch and decal set for the Tamiya SLR Mclaren? If so, can you explain the decals? They are not described in the otherwise excellent instruction booklet. ~~ Paul
  13. Well, what do you know! Bill and I are working on the same model at the same time. I just started building the Magnum a couple of days ago. I'm planning a simple build with just a few extras. Bill, did you find any good photo collections of the engine online somewhere? I can't locate much. ~~ Paul
  14. The wheels are ridiculous. Can we stop with the 37" monster wheels, please? Pretty soon the entire car is going to be inside the wheels. ~~ Paul
