Scale I Build
Hi Ed, Thanks. It was a fun build. Saw the Camaro you and your son did. Looks really good. The Vette was my third model of 2011. The second model was a Custom Chopper that I named "Tangerine Dreams". For my first Chopper, it came out looking really good. Currently I'm Prep-n-Priming two other models; a 1955 Chevy Bel Air and 1966 Shelby GT-350H. Chat with ya later!
Hey Cat. Yes, it is the new Viper kit. I like it, but the fit issues on some of the parts are tricky. There is also a LOT of flash on the parts. Just time consuming, ya know? They did a nice job on the look of it though, the body lines are dead on for a Viper. I hope to get it done before the end of the year, maybe. Looks good in Snakeskin green though!
Hi Ed, Thanks. I've built 23 kits so far. I'm currently working on number 24. It's a 32 Ford Highboy 5 window coupe, that I'm naming "The Golden Nugget". I have to finish it before this Friday for a model contest. I can't wait to see your Viper ACR and the 32 Ford. Is that Viper the new Revell kit? I've seen it around and I'm thinking of buying it. What kind ...
Felix, that Caddy was a real pain putting together. I ended up building and painting the body, then I put the floor in and detailed it. Once that was done, I shoehorned all the interior in. It was better than trying to assemble the body in two separate pieces. I still have to cover up that ugly seam though.
