I am semi-retired myself and eyesight is going 
....lots of detail painting made me appreciate the fit of the parts, lots of work but I love the results!
The only thing that I did in the way of body work was to give the clear body a coat of future before beginning and another after the decals were on, that's it!
Clear as glass and shows off the time I tool to paint the details. Although the photos reflect the light so as not to show the details, here are the engine assembly b4 as well as body before decaling.
