The wheels are from a store kinda like build a bear but for boys. It is called ridemakerz. They have stores in select areas. Mostly tourist areas. I heard some one say that you can get ridemakerz stuff from toys are us. They also have a web site. The rotors came off ebay. Just search for 1/12 resin drilled and slotted breakes and they should pop up. They were like 4.99 plus 2.50 shipping. I bought a few sets to minimize the shiping.

I used some aluminum rod 1/8 dia. and drilled out the rear axel to recieve it. The front would not allow for this so those wheels are not secured 100%. They may fall off at some time.

Front wheel and rotors.

The resin rotors add a ton of detail but were cheap off ebay.
Rear.

Im getting close. This thing has drug out way to long. A few more kit items to stick on, some seatbelts to scratch and the convetable top to go

My Uncle had one too I believe
Well aint that a coincident. My dad has two of them. One is a daily driver and the other, well, he beats it with a hammer whenever he gets mad at his most unfavorite politician.
Back to the build (sorry, i could not resist). The carbon kevlar is awesome on the seat back. I will try that techneque when ever i do mine
The seat padding is a smart idea. Please continue

I also would like to cut the front and rear bumpers off the GT 500 and add them to the build
