1970 Dodge Challenger

13 June 2009 - 05:19 AM

This is the new issue Revell 70 Challenger. I custom mixed some cream and white lacquer and cleared it with Omni Urethane clear. The side stripe decals are from Fred Cady and the engine compartment decals are Last Detail ones. This is the first model that I have finished in a long time (I've started plenty). It was a fun "slump buster".

Finished 1967 Impala

03 August 2008 - 05:55 AM

My main focus for this build was to build a clean  model with just a couple of aftermarket parts to spice it up a little.  The body is painted with MCW Gold Metallic with a Urethane clear coat.  The decals are from The Last Detail.

Finished 1974 Charger

01 August 2008 - 10:08 AM

With the Mopar Nationals coming up in a week, I figured I should finish up my 74 Charger project to take to the model contest.  This is the MPC Super Charger kit that I kitbashed with a AMT 71 Charger for the engine and chassis.

The body is painted with MCW Sky Blue (code B1) with a Urethane clear coat.  The decals are from Keith Marks.

67 AMT Chevy Impala

12 July 2008 - 05:07 AM

This is my 67 Impala project that I have been working on.  It is finished with MCW Gold metallic paint, Last Detail decals and a urethane clear coat.  I painted the interior with Tamiya titanium gold metallic.  Watch for this one on the contest tables later on this year.

64 Plymouth Belvedere

12 July 2008 - 05:01 AM

I finished this quickie build last week.  It is the Lindberg 64 Plymouth Belvedere kit.  I used plain ole' black lacquer on the body and finished it off with a urethane clear coat.  The interior is Tamiya acrylic red with a little bit of black mixed in to darken it up a little bit.
