Hi all I know this is a diecast but I did this as a break from the plastic. It started life as a rally escort cosworth


I then stripped it repainted it matt black redone the interior flocked the floor removed the passenger light to make airflow easier for the engine.  And here she is now ready for a blast around the track at the weekend

Hi guys I've acquired about 15 built up truck and trailers. The trucks are all complete as far as i know and all have instructions, the trailers are in good order. The question I got is for the trucks themselves, I want to strip them and rebuild them my way. What is the best way to do that? Cheers Craig ps here's a pic of the units

hi all as u probably seen innthe other section I picked up a load of trucks REAL cheap. They are all in need of some TLC. So I'm going to start with either of these. I have a few questions for all u guys who strip and redo these. 1: do I put it in oven cleaner before I get rid of the glue? If nit what's the best way to get the glue off? The other question is really for the truck guys. Or anyone with the truck knowledge. I have lots of instructions with this lot. But don't know what goes with what. I mean I don't know the name and model of the truck. If any body could give me a heads up that would be great here's the pics then.





Am guessing the blue ones a Volvo but don't know what number? And inthink the yellow one is a merc? Will get better pics tomoro if that helps. But any advice on striping them would be great craig

All this and another 2 boxes. Think there's about 13 tractor units and maybe 9 or 10 trailers all for £20 I had to grab it like. It was an older gentleman he said his don or grandson weren't interested. At first I saw a scooby 22b and thought I will have that. So asked how much for just the scooby he said £20 for it all. Bargain I told the guy I will try my best to restore them. let the fun comence

I'm on again with another Ferrari this time it's a 1/16. I bought this a while  back it was advertised with a small crack in the body. That was an understatement and a half. The roof has a huge crack one of the rear pillars is missing., and the rear panell is cracked. I got this out today in the intention of sticking it back on evil bay to sell on to someone else.
But something grabbed me and "BING" like a lightbulb I managed to vision it repaired and thought I'd be aswell give it a go. The engine has been made up(quite badly) so that's in the freezer. Not sure how long it has to go in there for?? And the body is taped up until I start the body work. This is way past my level of skill. So please tell me if I'm doing wrong. And ANY advice would be gratfully heard. Anyway enough of all the rant here's the pics.









This is a huge challenge but I'm looking forward to this.
