1/8 scale salt flat roadster.

28 March 2013 - 03:35 PM

no, i haven't abandoned the mike hill '69 camaro. hopefully i'll be able to get back to it soon. in the mean time i started this roadster. it will be a salt flat car. it may not be 100% correct. it's mostly a fun kinda build.

i already started the motor. it's an ardun headed v-12 w/ a 16-71 roots blower.

1:8 scale sonny's hemi w/ new century block

27 January 2013 - 05:27 AM

i had some fre time this weekend and i need a break from the '37 so i started a new motor project. it will be a sonny leonard semi hemi headed, new century aluminum block, big block chevy. ilove the valve covers on these motors so that's where i started.

for the block i used a standard bbc resin casting that was cast off my master and modified the heck out of it.

here's the finished unit.

next i made a jesel style cam belt drive. also a dist. belt drive. finally a balancer.

test fit of the drives turned out pretty good.

looking for anyone with hands on experience with makerbot

21 October 2012 - 01:07 AM

i am looking for anyone with actual hands on experience with the maker bot brand. i am considering investing in one and would like to hear input from any one that actually owns or works with one.

i am not looking to start a discussion on the pros and cons nor the viability of 3-d printing. please, there is no need to reply to this, if you have no actual hands on experience.

thank you.

'37 chevy pro mod body

27 September 2012 - 01:30 PM

i was wondering if anyone was aware of a company that produced a '37 chevy pro mod body? if worse came to worse. i would like to know if any model companies made a '37 chevy kit?

thanks for any answers you may have.
