About Me
Born a long time ago...in a galaxy far, far away...
I started building non-snap together models when I was seven (yeah, lots of sticky messes!) and have been at it off and on for over 35 years. I concentrate on armor as of now but have been knee-deep in 1/32 scale planes and 1/24 - 1/25 cars and trucks in the past. I am just getting back into cars after a few years off.
Currently I am working as a Biomedical Engineer but just recently retired (medically) from the Sheriff's Office after someone hit me on my motorcycle, thus ending a 13 year career.
I served with honor in the USCG during the first Gulf War and was honorably discharged in 1991.
It has been great seeing the evolution of modeling in the past three decades, especially the explosion of aftermarket stuff! I have yet to partake in many of the items out there as scratchbuilding is all I have ever done and I am too obstinate for my own good!
I look forward to learning from all of the fine folks on this forum!
Long live styrene!
Mick
