Sweet on both! Is the dodge from the transformers? I was going to make the ertl diecast one into an srt10 but didn't want to destroy my optimus ram:/

Thanks. Yep, I used two Optimus Rams becuase the roof and windshield were originally molded together

That 6x6 is really neat. Is it based on the Aurora Banana Splits Banana Buggy kit?

Over hill and highway,
the Banana Buggies go...

Thanks Casey. No, it's an original build, accurate to the real one. That old Aurora kit was way out of scale. Otherwise, the body was really nice.

After much deliberation (and sifting through this section), I've decided to use these parts and make a more accurate Movin On Kenworth. There's a lot of excellent information on the board. The only thing better is the quality of the models and modelers.

Here's what I've learned so far from the threads:

Pilot version:

Nose                      From AMT
Cab                        From Revell Germany
Chassis                   From AMT - Shorten (not sure how much yet, but will research it)
Sleeper                   36" From AMT
Engine                     VT903 from International Transtar or resin cast the NCT 350 from this AMT kit
Tanks                     From AMT - Shorten (not sure how much yet, but will research it)
Battery Boxes         Not sure yet - maybe from Revell Germany
Stack and Breather From Revell Germany - Passenger side only
Front Wheels         From AMT
Rear Wheels           Budd 5 Hole wheels - (resin only?)
Rear Suspension   Torsion Bar from the Watkins W925 or resin
Front Suspension   From AMT
Front Bumper         From Revell Germany
Decals                     Not sure yet

Series version:
Nose                      From AMT
Cab                        From Revell Germany
Chassis                   From Revell Germany (not sure if it's stock length yet)
Sleeper                   60" From Revell Germany
Engine                     VT903 from International Transtar or resin cast the NCT 350 from AMT kit
Tanks                     From AMT
Battery Boxes         Not sure yet - maybe from Revell Germany
Stack and Breather From Revell Germany
Front Wheels         From Revell Germany ?
Rear Wheels          From Revell Germany ?
Rear Suspension   Torsion Bar from the Watkins W925 or resin
Front Suspension   From AMT
Front Bumper         From Revell Germany
Decals                     Not sure yet

Thanks everyone,

Rob

That part #12 looks like the engine halves from a Monogram 1926 AC Mack...

Good Eye Wagoneer81!

I see lunar lander parts on this part... I love Greeblies and Sci-Fi modeling!

Correct again. They're lunar landers from the 1/144th scale Airfix Saturn V.
I love it too. The research is part of the fun when making these models.

If the other parts are new, not an old built up, then someone could combine the Kenworth K123 COE kit with these parts and make a nice W925.

Tim

Hey Tim, the parts are new. When it's combined with parts from a K123, would it be converted into a different type of W925? What do I do about the missing air cleaner? I'm not a truck guy, so I don't know all the various conversions. Thanks
