R Model Mack Rolloff Truck
29 January 2007 - 04:09 PM
I built this back in 1990 - I think? I do know it has been a while!!
Anyway its still holding up well

I modeled this truck after the Truck I was driving at the time

Just about everything from the cab back was scratchbuilt other than the wheels and tires.
One of these days I will take some newer pictures with abetter background
Thanks for looking

This is a truck I finished over the holidays
I extended the frame added the load axle, scratchbuilt built the rolloff flatbed, The front wheels are my resin cast deep dish wheels (Resin wheels currently on ebay for sale)
The head ache rack I copy casted, and modified the front grille and grille bars
I weathered the truck to depict a truck that has been well used over the years and is now just hauling scrap
The Yellow Ford is in the works Front end has been widened and running boards added to make a bigger F series truck
