fujimi mitsubishi lancer evo VI

this is just a quick build i might build a small diorama for.
im starting with the fujimi evo 6 mk sport.
i may use some of the decals but this is pretty much gonna be like a stock jdm evo.
real simple kit. has about 60 or 70 pieces in the box.

just finished up a few hours ago. let the decals dry and took some pictures.

this was my first foreign kit i built and i loved it. some people told me not to build it this way since it was a discontinued kit and hard to find in the us but im very happy with the way it turned out. favorite thing about these jap kits are the poseable steering. wish the american kits came like that.
sorry for the bad quality pictures.

always read the directions CAREFULLY when building a model

11 June 2011 - 09:06 AM

i do this all the time and im wondering how many of you do the same. when building a model you kinda breeze through the instructions and install a part before it supposed to be and then figure out this should have went in before that.

like today i installed the dashboard on my skyline before i put the bottom half of the roll cage in. not thats a big deal its just the roll cage is a pain in the rear to squeeze in now.

ive also forgot to add things such as mirror glass or something else small. i did onetime build a car that i forgot to install the firewall :o
i know how can you forget to do that right? well ive made stupid mistakes like as im sure all of us has done something all these lines

went to a new hobby shop yesterday that i found and i picked up this tamiya and had to buy it. its my first japanese build.
so far all i did was clean up some mold lines on the body. they werent too bad and cleaned up pretty easy.
i dont really have any plans with it other then i wanna do some sort of drift build since it comes with a nice stripped interior.
but since ive never built a jap kit or a drift car ill take my time on this.
