The GLUE BOMB Invitational.

21 June 2011 - 08:23 PM

Alright guys, a new CBP is up.

The Glue Bomb Invitational. Anyone can join in on the fun, and I'm alowing a whopping 12 months on this one.

Rules: You must start with a glue bomb / paint bomb or somewhat partially tarnished model, preferably one that would otherwise be chucked out.

Otherwise, just go crazy and build whatever you can.

I'm going to be combining a 1990 F250 glue bomb with a 1953 Corvette, also pretty far gone.

This, could get tricky...

Best of luck guys, register now!

Pegasus wheel dealers in Australia???

16 June 2011 - 05:51 PM

Hey guys.

I've been thinking about trying to source Pegasus wheels within Australia for a while however haven't had any luck thus far. Has anyone found a dealer within Aus or is it just as easy / safe to order from the US?

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Aaron.

'32 Ford 5 window Rat Rod

10 June 2011 - 05:34 PM

Hey guys.

I got bored of looking at my '32 Ford looking like a glorified sleeper with a five litre Mustang engine and airbags, so I 3/4 cut the frame and added the rear end from Edd Roth's Beatnik bandit, slung the body over it and noticed I was on to something.

I've now gone fenderless with this project. She's running a Ford Boss 302 topped with '53 Corvette Carbs and running Drag pipes with chromed flanges. (Pics soon)

Wheels and tyres are also from the Roth kit.

More pics soon.

'70 Mustang 351 Weekend Drag Car

09 June 2011 - 03:04 PM

Hey guys!

Here's my '70 mustang. I combined my favourite parts from both the 302 Boss and the Mach 1 kit to create one mean weekend drag racer. I didn't want to make just another Boss or Mach 1, so I did something different.

The distributor is plumbed and she's running on wide GT radials in the rear and skinnys up front. A perfect weekend drag racer.

Paint is Tamiya Silver Metallic with four light coats of automotive clear coat.
