'50s Olds Work in Progress

16 March 2013 - 01:39 PM

I'm creating a '50s muscle car with a '69 Olds engine and parts. I may change the black "chrome" back to regular chrome, what do you think?

Box Stock '41 Plymouth

23 February 2013 - 10:26 AM

Decided to go with a plain old box stock build. I thought it'd be pretty simple, but the bare metal foil was a bit of a pain. Comments welcome!

'29 Custom Woody

23 February 2013 - 10:12 AM

Here's an AMT '29 customized Woody with cut off fenders, handpainted wood grain on the body and bumper, and a surfboard for flavor. The tiki shifter was handcarved to go with the surf theme. I adapted speed parts from a '31 Woody, added ignition wires and tail lights from my parts box. The headlights were cut apart and relocated. I took out the inside wood panels to give the vehicle an open air feel. Thanks for looking and comments welcome!

Van Gogh Vantasy Chevy Van

15 February 2013 - 09:35 PM

Here's my first completed build of 2013: an AMT Vantasy using kit custom parts and handpainted graphics. The graphics are inspired by Vincent Van Gogh and Robert Crumb's Keep On Truckin'. Hope you enjoy, comments welcome.
