Polar Lights Mach V Question

Bought a version of this, kind  of disappointed, seems to be 1/32 scale, am I correct on this? Terrible that they did'nt print this on the box.

How do you like yours and what benefits or problems does it have?

decal advice

Have had trouble using older decals, glue turns yellow and decal seems to dry out.
A friend mentioned possibly placing the decal in direct sunlight for a day?
What will work for this problem?

I have'nt taken the time to do this yet, so this is what I've been working on. 99% of my builds will turn into drag slotcars.
