Airbrush help

16 December 2013 - 03:21 PM

After making a post about spray paint and getting some good advice, a few guys had suggested investing in an airbrush. I'm very limited on funds so I can only spend $75-100 bucks. I'm not looking for the best just one that will last and let me do all kinds of different projects. I hear you guys always talking about Paasche H and Badgers.

Here are some kits I found on amazon that I was looking at. I know a little bit but not enough to buy a kit. Take a look and let me hear your opinions and advice. It's been a huge help so far and I need to make a decision by tomorrow. Thanks for any help.

http://www.amazon.co...4C/ref=pd_ybh_1 - NO COMPRESSOR

http://www.amazon.co...26/ref=pd_ybh_6 - NO INFO. HAVE NO IDEA IF ITS GOOD OR BAD

If you guys know of any or see any others that are good for a decent price let me know

Could really use spray can advice

14 December 2013 - 10:56 PM

I wanted to grab some paint tomorrow but had a few questions I was hoping you guys could answer.

I was really liking all the RustOleum paints for 5 bucks you can get at Walmart. I was thinking about getting the self etching or filler primer, some colors, and clear, all lacquer.

My questions - is it worth it? Do they turn out nice after polishing/buffing or am I better off to go with Krylon, Testors? Do I go with enamel, acrylic, or lacquer?

If anyone could throw up examples that'd be great

I am open to opinions on what to use just remember
*NO expensive stuff, need to get more bang for my buck.
*NO airbrush, need to be spray cans.
* stores near by - Micheals, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes

Thanks for any help.
