What are some good modeling habits or procedures that you often break?  Like, I rarely wash or prime my parts (other than the body).  Sometimes I prime and paint right over chrome plated parts.  I start 10 projects for each one I finish.  Where do you consistently fall short of diligence?

These get great reviews.  They go on great with a brush.  But I'm struggling to airbrush them.  Looks like some people thin and some don't.  Most seem to say that they are airbrush ready right out of the bottle.  But I'm having no luck.  The most common problem is after about 30 seconds of airbrushing my airbrush gets clogged.   I have no problem airbrushing other brand acrylics.  Am I doing something wrong or should I just thin them?

I understand what it is... but what is happening?  

And why would they produce parts in red plastic and then expect us to paint it white?

I've used Tamiya rattle cans forever and always had nice results.  Yesterday, I primed some parts in their grey primer.  Went on great.  But then when I sprayed the white on top, it fisheyed and puddled in the crevices. All kinds of issues.  And the white had worked just fine a few hours earlier on some other parts.
