As the model sits, the motor and suspension is done. I will get some pictures of those tonight. I am attempting to get this car done by saturday for a contest. I have the interior in paint right now. I was painting the body last night and my paint messed up. I was using valspar because I always have good results with it. However for some reason when I used a can last night the paint was very coarse and looked like sandpaper. Im gonna give it another shot tonight.

This is not strictly a rat rod community build but more of a rat themed build. It dont have be a rusty chopped, sectioned, and pieced together ride. You can have a nice painted car/truck slammed with a set of wheels on it if you like or if you want a rusted out rat that is just as welcome. Gassers are also welcome. There is a wide range of build styles that fit the theme. Id like the cars to be pre-70 but will not turn away anyone that has a car or truck newer that they feel fits the criteria. Some 70s - 80s trucks make perfect trucks for this build style. You are not limited to one car or truck, build multiple if you wish. Deadline will be december 1st. Not many rules but just make an initial post stating what you are going to build so I can add your name to the list. Lets get this thing going and hopefully we can get enough interest for an annual build off. If you have questions on what exactly the rat theme is that I am talking about, here are some pictures for motivation. 

I am looking for this wagon. Doesnt matter if it is a builtup.

Im not aware of one being made. Is there a plastic kit or a resin kit?
