Tried wiring my first engine, on this model. Things haven't quite worked out as you can see the hemi is just massive, no space for beginners hands lol, might have been easier to use the 360 also supplied with the kit.

Hey guys, started this Polar LIghts kit a lil while ago, had problems with the decals splitting before they were even pulled off the sheet, so some are missing. But ive gotten some clear on the body today and prety happy with how things are going so i thought i would throw some pictures up.

Built box stock minus some of the homo parts. The idea looked better in my head i think lol.

Bought this kit off ebay for a bargain, my expectations were higher being a Revell kit but its not bad. There aren't many pieces so i can see it being done in a short amount of time. I thought for ages what color to do it, everybody just seems to go black and i thought what else is an old school sort of typical Chev color, yellow? But then as it sat there in primer i thought why not try make it look like its ALMOST ready for color, the few test trails look good so ill see what i can come up with.
I have never tried a paint job like this so bare with me lol.

Some of you may recall the build thread for this not so long ago, i got so wrapped up in another model of mine i never got round to posting pics of the finished product lol. Here it is anyway.
I haven't yet seen this model completed with the supplied graphics, so i figured i should try something new. I thought long and hard about what colors go with the browny red stripes and a figured Pearl white would do the job just fine.
When fitting the front window i didnt realize one of my fingers had paint on it, rookie error, i also made it worse trying to clean it off the window. I was prety cut by the end lol.
For the ride height i flipped the front spindles to get the front as low as possible, i also cut the rear shocks shorter to try and raise the axle closer to the body.
Pictures are horrible, there off my phone. I will have to update this tomorrow with some photos in the sun. But let me know what you guys think.
