This one is the '93 Revell Snap kit. Built box-stock with wheel treatment from the 2002 Camaro kit. The front windshield cowl broke and gave the hood fit issues but overall was fun to build.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A very little-known fact is next to my love for Mustangs, I have a major soft-spot for Trans Ams (and other Firebirds) This one is the Monogram kit built right out of the box. It's tooling roots are in that of the 93 Snap kit, and the fit and design is good. Some mounting tabs had to be snipped off, and the mounting holes opened up more a lil but overall it was fun, and offered some challenge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OK I admit I stole the line from the old Monogram advert cards that used to get packed in the '90's Nascar kits, but I always fancied those lil cards... Anyhow these are my 2012 Completions, a few of them were started late 2011. I wasn't REALLY this busy lol. Enjoy.

1982 Camaro Z-28 Custom

I had some issues set me back away from the bench the last week and a half, but I was able to get normal tonight and finish something up.

 

This is my first Tamiya kit I've finished and for something quick and simple to get off my stash. It's pretty straight-forward, curbside but it went well and I'm pleased.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I found this photo in a google search, it's stuffed in the bay of the Revell Shinoda boss kit. That engine isn't native to that kit though.  I was curious if anyone knew if this intake setup came in any kits or is this a custom piece? The location i found it on seems to be dormant for some time for me to ask..
